Outage Analysis of Cognitive Two-Way Relaying Network with Physical-Layer Network Coding in Nakagami-m Fading Channels

چکیده
In spectrum sharing systems, a secondary user (SU) is permitted to share frequency bands with primary user (PU) as long as its transmission does not interfere with the PU’s communication. In this paper, the outage probability is investigated for the physical-layer network coding (PNC) based cognitive two-way relay network over Nakagami-m fading channel. By applying the interference temperature (IT) constraints at the transceiver nodes and relay nodes in secondary systems, we analyze the outage performance in underlay spectrum sharing with the best relay selection criterion. The cumulative distribution function (CDF) of the signal to noise ratio (SNR) for each link is derived to obtain the tight upper bound on the outage probability of the secondary relay system. Simulations results demonstrate the validity and accuracy of the theoretical analysis.

Outage Performance of Cognitive AF Relaying Networks over generalized η − μ Fading Channels
In this paper, a dual-hop cognitive amplify-and-forward (AF) relay network subject to independent nonidentically distributed (i.n.i.d.) η − μ fading channels is investigated. In the considered network, secondary users (SUs) including one secondary user source (SU-S) and one secondary user relay (SU-R) are allowed to share the same spectral resources with the primary user (PU) simultaneously und...
متن کاملAsymptotic analysis of multi-branch two-way amplify-and-forward relaying in Nakagami-m fading with arbitrary fading parameter
Two-way relay networks have received lots of attention, thanks to its ability to overcome the loss in the spectral efficiency due to half-duplex transmission. Asymptotic performance analysis can provide valuable insights into practical system designs. However, this is a gap in two-way relay network. In this paper, the asymptotic performance is studied for multi-branch dual-hop two-way amplify-a...
متن کاملPower Allocation Strategies in Block-Fading Two-Way Relay Networks
This paper aims at investigating the superiority of power allocation strategies, based on calculus of variations in a point-to-point two-way relay-assisted channel incorporating the amplify and forward strategy. Single and multilayer coding strategies for two cases of having and not having the channel state information (CSI) at the transmitters are studied, respectively. Using the notion of cal...
